The research of SkiSustain is being undertaken by the German Sport University Cologne(DSHS), Institute for Outdoor Sports and Environmental Science, and the University fo Zurich, Department for Geography.
The choice experiment of the demand side survey has been supervised by the Technical University Zurich (ETH), Institute for Environmental Decisions (IED), Dr. habil. Felix Schläpfer.
SkiSustain was financed and supported by the Foundation Safety in Skiing (SIS) and the German Ski Federation (DSV), Board of Environment and Snow Sports Development (DSV-Umweltbeirat).
More than thirty ski destinations in four Alpine countries and in North America, as well as a number of students and colleagues supported SkiSustain.
The Mountain Riders Foundation and Adème both supported the French part of SkiSustain.
Kapthon AG was the provider of communcation technology for the online Conjoint analyses Save-Snow.
